arrival.

A rotting world on the precipice of nihility.
The unseen gods who feast with a hunger unending.
And the scattered pieces who sow the seeds of discord with the blood of their fellows.

You smash your way out of an egg.

Wet with amniotic fluid and newly free of your shell, you find yourself in the worn remnants of a sprawling ancient city. The shelter of a dark tower looms ahead.

In it, you will find a place to rest your head. You will find others like yourself. You will find texts describing this world as it once was. And you will find power—the power to create, and the power to control. Perhaps even the power to attain all that you desire… if only you have the will to grasp that power for yourself.

This world and its gods have need of you. Perhaps, with your help, the land can be made hospitable once more; the land made fertile, the rain made gentle. Or perhaps, with this world's help, your own impossible dreams may finally be within your reach...

Paraprima is an experimental, invite-only, panfandom DWRP in which characters must generate 'discord' in order to survive, restore the world, and accumulate power to fulfill their own goals and desires.
