Activity is tracked on this spreadsheet and is checked the 1st of each month.
Failing AC does not get your character booted out of the game. Not even if you fail multiple times in a row! If a player's inactivity ever becomes an issue, we will talk to them about it at that time.
Instead, failing AC will incur IC consequences. (It is also perfectly possible and allowed to 'fail' AC intentionally, despite being active, if you simply want to play your character choosing to act in a way that will not pass AC and want to incur these consequences.) Activity requirements and consequences vary depending on your character's position in the game.
All AC requirements include "generating discord"; generating discord isn't meant to be hard. Bickering generates discord. Lying generates discord. Being annoying generates discord. Generating larger amounts of discord for greater goals and rewards should require more significant actions, but generating enough to pass AC is intended to be easy.
There is no comment count requirement for AC threads.

This could be a memory, a power, a skill, a belief, a facet of their personality, the color of their eyes–anything that is fundamentally a part of them. It may be possible to regain it later in play.
Losing pieces of themself repeatedly may result in eventually starting to become something else...

If they do not pass this requirement, their body and that of the god's will reject one another, and they will be stripped of their demigodhood and returned to being an unaffiliated pawn. They will lose access to their shrine as well as any powers they gained as a demigod or from a past following. However, if they can become a demigod once more, they will regain their shrine exactly as it was before, as well as all their previous powers, rather than having to start over from scratch.
If the demigod is still a follower of a god, then like pawn followers, one thread (or their minigame) must cater to their god's preferred flavor to maintain their status as a follower. If they have enough threads (or a minigame) but none that cater to their god, they'll lose their follower status, but retain their demigod status.
